Additional information

This step is applicable to the case of projects located in two (2) or more districts, towns or provincial cities.

Within 15-30 days as from the previous step, the Land Clearance and Development Agency shall coordinate with compentent authorites to issue a notice on land acquisition. It shall be sent to each current land user and publicized through mass media and at the head office of the People's Committees of the commune where the requested land plot is located and at a place for community activities of the commune. It shall be also sent to investor by the provincial People's Committee via post to the company's head office or through Land Clearance and Development Agency (LCDA).

A draft of plan on land acquisition and compensation shall be sent to investor for any comments and finalizing the plan. After finalizing the plan, the plan and a proposal for handovering land to investor shall be submitted by LCDA to the provincial People's Committee for approval. The results, including 1) approval of plan on land acquisition and compensation, 2) approved plan on land acquisition and compensation, and 3) an official letter accepting to hand over land plot shall be given to investor by LCDA which is legal foundation for investor to pay compensation for land users.
